Wigan Athletic club doctor, Jonathan Tobin, joins us on this midweek podcast special. A very engaging and entertaining guest, the Doc gives a great insight to the 2021/22 season at the club.
The Doc talks us through his expectations at the start of this campaign and how he realised early on that we had something special. We look back at the past nine weeks and the toll that it has taken on the players without them having any recovery time between games, quite obvious that JT is impressed with the mental attitude and drive of the squad to keep going and churning out results.
Doctor Tobin gives us updates on both Jordan Cousins and Charlie Wyke who have been out long term and we take a look at the League One weekend fixtures, to finish off Doc is asked for his player of the season and tells us that joining Wigan Athletic was 'coming home'.
