In this episode Valerie and I are joined by Erin Maier to talk about recent experience of going to the 59th Venice Biennale. In this episode we talk about why the Biennale this year has been labelled „female“, how does one approach an exhibition of this size, and how the Biennale is not just a stage for entertainment, but always a political statement.  Even though this work has not been mentioned in this episode, my praise goes to Maria Eichhorn‘s project Relocating a Structure at the German Pavillion as an example of the ultimate contemporary art project.
