Join Noni - Ife Taylor an MSW hospice social worker and me as we discuss the problems with the stigma surrounding end of life care, aging, and COVID. This stigma and fear of discussing end-of-life care, death, and dying leaves us unprepared and can cause stress for our loved ones. COVID has had a huge impact on the older adult population and because of our ageist society, they were deemed unworthy of care while younger generations were given priority. We also discuss the barriers to prepping for end-of-life and ways we can break them through education, awareness, advocacy, and policy.
