David Keddie teaches on 1 John 4:1-6 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

Chris Sallade speaks on assurance from 1 John 5:13 "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life."

Hear David Keddie teach from 1 John 2:15-17: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

Bill Boyce teaches on the Christian call to love God and to love others. 1 John 4:7-12 "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Chris Sallade speaks from 1 John 1:5-2:2 about how important it is that God is honest with us and that we are honest with Him. 

David Keddie preaches on 1 John 1:1-4 and John 20:24-29 (Jesus's interaction with Thomas after Jesus's resurrection) and David unpacks the encouragement we receive from Christian believers who have gone before us in history. 

Bill Boyce continues to discuss the opening verses of 1 John 1. What is trustworthy? What is true? 

Chris Sallade begins our FNF fall semester series on 1 John by teaching from 1 John 1:1-4. This meeting was outside so apologies in advance for the lower audio quality and the constant noise of crickets in the background!

Bill Boyce gave the message at our Reunions FNF out of Titus 2:11-14, "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works."

In preparation for hearing senior testimonies this year, Bill Boyce reflects on what it means to bear witness to Christ, and meditates on Psalm 66:16 "Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul."
