Sue was born in London in 1950 but grew up in Melbourne.  Sues talks candidly about her upbringing and her discovery of the word Lesbian from a medical book of her fathers on deviation after a teacher asked her and a friend to please associate with the other girls for fear of them becoming lesbians.
