It’s not always the easiest life to maintain when you become a mother. Even though moms are amazing problem solvers and are the best at time management since they have to juggle so many schedules, oftentimes the corporate world isn’t so welcoming after they have kids.

My guest today held a corporate position with an awesome salary and great benefits but she was uninspired. The positives outweighed the negatives and she would have remained there, except she was let go during the pandemic, during her maternity leave.

In this episode, I talk to Maura Walters about how the corporate world and 9-5 model was created for white men (not women!) with people at home caring for their children, why being let go from a job can be a sign from the Universe, and why entrepreneurship is a great alternative to the corporate world for moms.
