A Board Certified Family Practitioner, sub-specializing in Primary Care Sports Medicine. His areas of special interest are sports medicine, non-surgical musculoskeletal care, overuse injuries, and injury prevention. he serves as a team physician for U.S. Soccer's Men's and Women's National Teams and the Chicago Bears and former team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks. He completed his Residency at the Northwestern-affiliated program at St. Joseph Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. His awards as Chief Resident include: the Mead Johnson Award for Graduate Education, which is given to the 20 most outstanding Family Medicine residents in the country, and the Resident Teacher Award. The best of all, he is former Wildcat and played soccer at Northwestern University, so at we have that in common.
