This 'Mental Health, DPT School and Self Worth' episode goes deep into the often stigmatized topic of mental health. Yusra Iftikar shares her experience with mental health, its struggles as well as the lens and perspective it has provided her in order to relate to others in a way that many can't. As a first year DPT student at DUKE University this fall, Yusra has chosen to use her passion for Physical Therapy, along with her experiences, to inspire many to do the same and more. Her involvement in social justice advocacy including her role in the 'World Changers,' sets her apart not only as a future Physical Therapist but as a young woman willing to do what is right to leave the world around her in a better place.
