After Jesus's resurrection from the grave, He came and spoke to His disciples saying:All authority (all power of rule) has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.Matthew 28:18-20 God wants you to know and understand, what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His Power IN and FOR us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, Ephesians 1:19 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His Own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, above every title that can be conferred, not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church, a headship exercised throughout the church, His Body which you are an individual member.Ephesians 1:20-22 , 1 Corinthians 12:27For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life IN Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature. And He is the Head of ALL rule and authority of every angelic principality and power.Colossians 2:9-10 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:9-11 All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; Matthew 11:27 The Father loves the Son, and has given All things into His hand. John 3:35 For by Christ Jesus all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.Colossians 1:16-17 You made Him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put All things under his feet: Psalm 8:6 Jesus told his disciples the secret to the power of prayer is IN HIS NAME. The night before His Crucifixion, Jesus revealed to them the key to His Authority Saying:What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the His works, His own miracles, deeds of power. John 14:10 Earlier He revelaed: “I and the Father are One. John 10:30 Most assuredly, Jesus says to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14 Jesus again repeats this in John 15:16:You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”John 15:16 Then he reveals the truth again in John 16:24-24And in that day you will ask Me nothing.
