The word is merimnáō in the Greek, it means to draw in different direction, to divided into parts, and to go to pieces..The objective is to pull a person apart in different directions to cause concern over what God has in-birthed in them by His Holy Spirit, this is the force exerted by sinful anxiety (worry).God says: Do Not Be Anxious about anything.
