"By getting to know ourselves through these different contexts, through this different understanding, through this different language, we can then also be clearer about what it is that we like and want, what it is that we don't like and we don't want.”
Our second book club episode is here! Courtney was joined by two former guests to discuss Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski, PhD.
This book is, on its surface, is about sex, but as our discussion wanders into a multitude of different directions, it becomes clear that it's about so much more.
That being said, it IS about sex, so listeners should make their own choices about where and around whom they'd like to listen. There is some explicit terminology utilized and mentions of sexual assault. Feel empowered to sit this one out if it's not the right fit for you, and we'll see you back here next week.
Next month's selection is Atomic Habits by James Clear. We hope you'll join us!
