Priyanka left home at 10 to study at boarding school and moved to the US in 1999 to pursue a Masters in Computer Science after her engineering degree. She’s a Mom to 2 her sons, 12 and 10, one of them highly gifted and on the autism spectrum and the other a highly sensitive child. In addition, for about 21 years, she has supported her parents financially, later helping them immigrate to the US and managing most of their well-being needs until recently. And as marriages often do, hers required a lot of work from both sides, including a period of separation and counseling. All through this, she’s had a demanding career, having worked in software leadership roles at well-known software giants like Google, Yahoo!, IBM and eBay. Most recently, she helped found a small software startup, and currently head up a software engineering team at a construction software startup.
Having juggled so much alongside a demanding career, she’s had to learn a lot about emotional well-being.
