3 super soldiers with nothing to lose vs. a military veteran with everything to lose. In A24’s Onslaught, directed by Adam Wingard (V/H/S, You’re Next), Adria Arjona finds herself in the fight of her life to protect her daughter. It’s an action horror film that evokes 1980s slashers and action films, and it comes with a lot of firepower. In our spoiler-free Onslaught review, we discuss the style, acting, story, and more en route to our final thoughts and scores out of 10.
