Yes, this is the

Valentine’s Day episode and, yes, it is very, very late. This is due to thegood (an incredible vacation to Sydney and New Zealand) and bad (getting Covidthe day we were flying back). two films, I and Richard Kirkham of such vlogs and blogs like The Lambcast andThe Strother Martin Film Project, had a great time discussing two romantic dramasabout lovers coming back from the afterlife to interact with those left behind.

 

 

We especially had

a great discussion not only as to why such films are so popular, but whetherthere is a difference between films where the ghost is a man or a woman (wethought there might very well be). Both films came out the same year, but thematicallyand stylistically, they are so very different. But only one has Alan Rickman init.
