In this Episode as the anniversary of the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty and the events such as the Irish civil war which followed it, takes place this year. I decided it would be interesting to discuss those historical events and their contemporary political importance. I interviewed Professor Gary Murphy from the school of law and government In DCU to get his perspective on these centenaries. I also spoke with Rory Guerin and Cormac Doherty students in DCU involved in Fianna Fail and Fine Gael respectively about their parties' past divisions and their future.
