Poetry and Songwriting By Barrie Herrold.

This is episode one of a series of poems called Towers Of The Sea. It's inspired by the current pandemic as well as past events and novels like  1984.  Logan's Run They Live  The Matrix It follows the life of a disillusioned border worker and an old stone mason who reluctantly created the walled world they live in.

The Maori lyrics to Hareruia were penned  Rev Te Hira Paenga, who is of Ngati Porou and Ngapuhi descent.  Hallelujah was originally released by Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen in 1984. Astronauts is an original poem by Barrie Herrold.  Music, episode art and editing is also by Barrie Herrold. This includes a verse from the popular lullaby Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" is a popular English lullaby. The lyrics are from an early-19th-century English poem by Jane Taylor, "The Star". The song is in the public domain, and has many adaptations around the world. 

This episode is about a poem I wrote called Super Hero, which is inspired by the life of an artist.
