James begins this chapter with several scathing remarks and a strong rebuke. He asks his audience why they were fighting and warring with each other. He brings up lust, the desire to have things, and why they aren't receiving them. He claims that they would only consume them upon their own lusts. He calls anyone who befriends the world adulterers and adulteresses. He even goes as far as to say that if you are the friend of the world, you are the enemy of God!In our Q&A segment, we are asked a great question: Are there other gods, or not? Sometimes the Bible speaks as if there are no other gods as in Is. 45:5-6, but then it speaks as if there are in places like Ps. 82:6.You're going to get a lot out of this episode... if you would only listen!
