I’ve been thinking about the different characters that the Mind, or Ego, can adopt. The Judge is given skewed information from the critic in order to persuade the judge (i.e the mind, which is extremely persuasive as we all know) that punishment needs to be taken. What lies beyond this? The testimony of the Witness. The witness, while still a part of the mind, is one of the most reliable Sources because of how it lives within the in-between space; perhaps, through this witnessing, it is able to interact with our inner judge so that no further harm must be done. Let us cultivate the Witness. Let us sit , in order to Breathe, Be, and Be With. Let us sit in order to See, to listen with steady Ears, and open Hearts.
