In today's world, everybody gets a participation trophy.  But, the reality is and has always been - no one owes you anything, so snap out of your stinkin' thinkin'.  We need to have a hard conversation.  We need to talk about an uncomfortable truth that may go against what you may have been taught by well meaning, well intentioned people.  The bottom line is if you want something, don't be jealous of other people's stuff.  Work for it and earn it, and Plow The Field.
