<p>This, the last poem of poetry week speaks to the actual theme of poetry week this year. Letting go. &nbsp;We must let go eventually, or we risk dying. We believe it is time to let go and move forward with life, and like trees, know well no matter the season we find ourselves in, we are still alive.</p>

Poetry is an exceptional arm of literature. A perfectly crafted poem can lift one's spirit from the pits of depression, capture the essence of a sunrise, reenact a sunset without painted lines, flood flirtatious rhymes into a crush's eyes or place a stillness and calm on overcrowded minds.

However, Poetry's beauty is unique to the poet's ability, experience, and versatility. Some poets may write sonnets in mere seconds whilst others may dance in a rhyme an hour at a time with no sight of stopping in the next line. Then there's me, who simply Platt's his poetry.
