Platinum Ranch is just north of south, in the middle of the outskirts, on the outside of the inner desert. Its polaris is the periphery. Northstar is beneath our feet, friends, and if deserts seem lifeless and rocks seem plain, pick one up and pay attention: there's a history of the infinite, they're the fragments of lodestars past, there's wisdom in looking further than you can see.
