This podcast is a part of our Giving Tuesday series and today we chatted with Mary Niemela from the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home. The shelter provides temporary shelter for victims and their children in abusive relationships with individual counseling and support groups for residents and non-residents, information and referral to appropriate agencies, outreach advocates available to help victims work with law enforcement and prosecutors in domestic violence cases, and transportation to shelter is available. All services are free and confidential.
