On today's episode, we're talking to another one of my favourite wedding filmmakers Monika Frias A.K.A, La Txina, (La Che Na)
This Dominican-born, Barcelona-based photographer and videographer can't explain why she's so into walking around wedding parties with a camera around her neck but It's clear Monika is attracted to hearing and retelling people's love stories and instead of using large amounts of audio and lighting equipment, Monika embeds herself and her camera into every party and catches unexpected moments from the inside.
We'll find out the hows and why she creates what she does so If you're a gear head who just wants to find a simpler approach to shooting weddings or if you feel you're not really that great at shooting weddings, fear not. Yes we're going to be diving into this beautiful creatives back story and finding out what makes Monika tick as well as all about shooting and creating an amazing film when you're not the strongest of shooters.
