One of the harsh realizations a lot of fitness instructors are understanding is that online workouts are tough. Learning how set up lights, mixers, and cameras is not within any typical certification course, and it’s a steep learning curve. Returning guest, Brooke Johnson shares the mental journey she went through on learning how to instruct online and how she overcame many of these new challenges. A topic that Brooke dives into is her approach to learning how to teach a different format in front of the camera. At the moment of this episode’s release, Brooke is transitioning to teaching indoor cycling and strength training which requires different camera set-ups and lighting. Brooke Johnson has been in the fitness industry for a little over 10-years. She started out as an indoor cycling instructor and has been teaching a variety of formats since. Currently she resides in beautiful Maryland with her husband and two kids. Brooke is also an online instructor for Time 2 Train Fitness.
