Artist and arts advocate, Melissa Lee, talks with Peachy Keen in her Athens, Georgia studio about Monster Jam, her childhood in South Georgia, why mamas shouldn't let their babies grow up to be existentialists or libertarians, and the struggle to find work in an arts-related field. Lee also gives us the haps on the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission and how to submit artwork to the Nasty Women Athens: Art Exhibition.
You can find Melissa Lee's artwork for sale on her website: Tenth Muse Studio. A portion of all sales benefit charity.
