He told the 2026 Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas that if the GOP holds the House and the Senate, every adult citizen gets a “Trump dividend.” He framed it like a company paying shareholders after “tremendous economic success,” and he told the crowd to pretend he’s on the ballot so he can finish the job. Keep the majority, he said, and the next two years include voter ID, energy production, permanent cuts on tips, overtime, and Social Security, plus bills on surprise medical billing, hospital prices, credit-card swipe fees, cashless bail, and the death penalty for large-scale drug dealers. Lose it, and he warned the border, the tax cuts, and the safety go with it.
