Amateurs do gaming proud
An excellent example of amateur, unfocused tabletop gaming. The long-suffering but game GM herds a crowd of drunken fools through (after the first season) original adventures. Easily distinguished from your average drunk D&D by the audio quality (Thanks Rory!), the easy chemistry of the players, the specific lack of sociopathy or infighting, and a game DM who's willing to grab whatever the players latch onto and run with it. They're no professionals and the dick-and-fart jokes are frequent, but definitely a fun listen.
Edit: the addition of Vanessa, the Savage Roll side gig, and rotating GM duties keep this podcast worthwhile and growing.

A welcomed change of pace!
I’ve listened to a few D&D podcasts that will put you to sleep during the day. This is not one of them. The characters are ridiculous, and the accents are terrible. I love it. I’m only 10 episodes in, but I’m hooked.

Love this Podcast
I don’t say this often not do I review often, but every new episode that drops is like waking on Christmas morning. This isn’t your typical D&D podcast, but it is absolutely how I wish more were. It’s like going out with your friends on a Friday night but as a podcast

While the distractions and interruptions never cease I enjoy listening to the gang goof off and occasionally roll dice.

Not Clean Lyrics
Deceiving Clean Lyrics label. The first episode was definitely not clean and should have the Parental Advisory Label.

Total Awesome Funtime
DnD real play podcast where several people play and have a good time.
One of the funniest/sexiest shows I have ever listened too. Those creamy daddies doe

A very chill game
Sure, there's plenty of comedy D&D games. In fact, it's hard to even make a top ten of non-comedy D&D games. Can you think of ten? I can't. Maybe like 3?
Anyway, Party Roll succeeds for me because it's not only a comedy show, but it is very unconcerned with things that drag down other comedy games, like a focus on the rules, or letting episodes go too long. It's like that 80s B-movie you remember from your childhood. It's really not that good, but that's part of the point.

It saddens me how much I enjoy this podcast.
If you are looking for a super serious DnD AP game look somewhere else. If you are looking for a podcast that makes you feel like you are sitting around the table with your good friends playing a great game this is the podcast for you. I look forward to the new episodes each week and find myself laughing multiple times each episode. The current season's story is pretty amazing and Savage Roll is also a Creamy Daddy on top of the cake that is this podcast.

Funny entertainment while you wait for your other actual play podcasts to come out...
This actual play is a great example of what it's like to be at an actual table playing with your buds and all the distractions, inside jokes, terrible puns and just all around trying to derail the DM that comes with that. However, and I am only at episode 22 of season 2 "corpsetrain", the DM tries throughout the series to establish that most homebrew mechanics or tweak to RAW will not be implemented for the purposes of both the group fully understanding the core game first as well as any listeners who may be new to D&D. And as a fellow DM, I fully understand the frustration that can come with an unfocused group like this, but when you establish a rule on the party but then don't apply it to your NPCs, that comes off as how I put it "pulling the DM card". The instance in particular is the grappling rule, which I admit needs a bit more fleshing out from WotC, but the DM drops hints at being able to this to stop enemies from fleeing and the such, and then the next encounter basically completely disregards the effect, even as some of the players point out the double standard, leading to an NPC death that was made sort of clear that the DM wanted dead to start. And the monster that was able to this sounded like a homebrew zombie of some kind with a seemingly limitless HP until the other NPC was dead. Why have the encounter then? Just have the players come across the scene afterward and fight the zombie then. I am not a fan of this type of DMing, which the show up to this point has not really had. I will continue to listen, because maybe it gets addressed and the DM realizes his mistake which he has been good about in the past, but i just had to say that part really brought the whole show to screeching halt for me for how blatant it was. Anyway, sorry if this is too critical of perhaps a minor issue, but it's still a good show with guys who have good senses of humor and loads of patience! Listen if you're not looking for a serious actual play and don't mind a plot that moves at a snails pace.

Hilarious, even if you don't get DnD
This is easily one of my favorite podcasts of all time. I listen to it most nights as I'm falling asleep and it keeps me up laughing for hours. Just the right amount of nerdiness and enough entertainment to keep me coming back to listen.

Batknife full of fun
About half way through the episodes, really fun podcast, wish there was more of it. One of the best podcasts in Tex- er uh I mean Michigan, yeah Michigan...

A wonderful show, but...
... MORE D&D!! I laugh a lot when I listen, but after awhile the realization dawns that they're not really getting anywhere in the adventure. Season 1 was better than season 2, even though they're roleplaying the characters better in the latter. The "Mumbles" character was not a good addition to the cast.
Keep up the great work guys, I love the show. I just wish you actually played some D&D once in awhile! :)

Hilarious and delightful to listen, I always enjoy the episodes. Really helped me learn dnd in a more casual way

Funny but too distracted
Used to be one of my favorite DND podcasts but especially lately they get too distracted with inside jokes. In a recent episode it took them an hour to walk to palace and get a quest. No encounters, no puzzles, no complications. That's it. The quest giver didn't even need to be persuaded he was trying to tell them. It just got derailed by jokes.
The characters are hilarious (although a little bloodlust-y) and they actually RP well at times but their antics need to be toned down so they actually do something in the one hour.

Too Funny
Every episode is produced with high quality and is only matched by their humor.
Haven't regretted listening to their first season and I'm excited to listen to their second.
Keep up the good work!

Good, but tiring
I listened to quite a few of these. It is good in waves, but the schtick gets old after awhile, like all D&Drinking APs. On the positive, this was my favorite drinking AP. It is just a tired gimmick.

Best podcast ever and I totally wasn't bribed cookie cake for this >.>

An excellent "friends playing 5e" cast
The first couple episodes have a lot of joking around, but the group finds a really good balance after a bit so that I look forward to weekly episodes like a second campaign in addition to the one I'm running in-person.
Only gripe is that they're coming from Pathfinder and DnD Next so they often mix up rules. I just tweet at them relentlessly to "help" ;)

Hilarious D&D podcast
Honestly, you had me at “I am playing a Wizard know as Wi-ZARD."

The perfect introduction to tabletop gaming
I have played exactly zero D&D games and haven't but a faint grasp on how it's played, yet I laughed until I had tears in my eyes throughout this show. The guys are genuinely funny and I think I might understand a little better how to play, although maybe I'm learning how to play it completely wrong. Either way, super funny.

I’ve never played DnD but it actually sounds fun with these guys. I enjoyed the show and was invested and amused by their game.

Fun even for people who don't play D&D
I found the show very entertaining, even though I don't play D&D. Hosts are fun!

Another funny D&D Cast
Add this bad boy to the swath of D&D podcasts out there but give it a little leg up because these guys treat D&D like the fun imaginative (and not too serious) game it is! Jokes can come at a rapid pace when the mood is set right.

Honor Roll!
It was an honor to listen to the Party Roll Podcast! Dusty, Cory, Mark, Steven, and Matt are some smart dudes who are great to spend an hour with. I'd love to share a Michigan Mt. Dew with them some time!

Really brings me back.
Maybe this won't be for everyone, but if you're the type who played any pen and paper back in high school, or anything like that, you're likely to love this. I really felt I was back with all my friends, killing a Sunday afternoon. Man, I miss those days!

Intersting idea for sure!

Good old DND Action
Nothing like a good DND podcast when the group is right. This group is great!

Keep in mind, I have no idea how to play D&D.
In fact, I used to hate D&D because my buddy used to play constantly. Even though I have no D&D background, I really enjoy this show so far. These guys have great chemistry. It makes me almost want to play D&D...almost.

Great D&D Crew
