Acknowledgement Letters are typically generated instantly after lodgement of an Australian Partner visa

The DHA are actively prioritizing Partner visa applications that have all relationship evidence, medicals and required police clearances from Applicants & Sponsors.

In my experience, 9 out of 10 well-prepared Partner visas will only be requested to provide outstanding Medicals and Police Clearances, if at all.

Attaching evidence that you 'intend to provide' any requested documentation or information from your application should prevent a refusal if things are still missing after 28 days.

Attaching a signed statement to your application explaining that you are in the process of providing requested documentation is always advisable.

You should always rename your documents to demonstrate to the DHA you intend to provide requested items, such as 'Character - Indian PCC - Intention to Provide - Receipt for Application'.

People panic when they receive a 28 day deadline on an RFI because they do not know how to correctly deal and keep the DHA informed on how they are going obtaining what has been requested.
