It’s easy to get caught in a cycle of ordering our kids around, but that usually leads to feelings of frustration and anger for everybody! Making a factual statement takes the pressure and judgment out of the equation and allows space for awareness and cooperation. And it usually takes much less words and energy! Now we know that simple, factual statements are powerful and empowering.
