In this episode we discuss the struggles of growing up with a turban (Pagh) and more specifically the role and impact this, in part,  had on our finding self-identity as first generation Canadians. We also discuss the cultural and societal expectations placed on first generation Canadians and how that shaped and moulded us into the individuals that we are today.

Pardesi Beats was started in 2012 as an avenue to connect the community to their culture and current events; primarily the youth. 
Pardesi Beats started as a music and entertainment show and then we launched Pardesi Beats Powerplay - our Sports talk show. 
Pardesi Beats Unplugged encompasses both the Music Entertainment show and the Sports Talk show, in a laid back, chill vibe.
