Paradise Lost -Front Matter

Paradise Lost by John Milton is an epic poem that explores the biblical story of the Fall of Man. The poem begins with Satan and his fallen angels, who have been cast out of Heaven, plotting revenge against God. Satan tempts Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, leading to their disobedience and expulsion from paradise. Milton delves into themes of free will, temptation, and the nature of good and evil. The work portrays Satan as a complex character, both defiant and tragic, and examines the consequences of rebellion against divine authority. Despite the fall, the poem ends with a message of hope and redemption, as humanity is promised eventual salvation through Christ. Summary by Dream AudioBooks
