This week on Bass Fishing for Noobs, your hosts Sean and Susie break down their fishing seasons so far including tournaments and fun fishing. We talk about the tactics and techniques that have helped us to put fish in the boat, and what brought us to use those baits.
We also talk about the importance of being aware of your surroundings, whether that's noticing differences in vegetation, water levels, water temperature and using that knowledge to develop a pattern that might help you find and catch more fish. Just simple observations such as seeing bait fish moving or jumping, or seeing birds like herons or loons can help an angler key in on locations that might be holding fish.
We also talk about the curious spawn that we are experiencing this year, and how it seems to off or late for some of the northern parts of the country.
Sean and Susie finish out the show by going over the results from the May Noobs tournament and kick off the June Noobs tournament.
