Here, Marketing & Development Director Kelly McHugh-White speaks with the Foundation's Board of Directors about their personal inspiration to volunteer for this global mission as well as their collective effort to ensure the work continues through this global pandemic.

Despite being the most isolated island chain in the world, marine debris is a consistent problem in Hawaii. Our research study aims at evaluating mitigation measures and comparing the efficacy of policy measures to that of education and outreach programs. Here, PWF's Chief Biologist Stephanie Stack interviews Chief Scientist Jens Currie about this study.

A film created over the course of two years by PWF staffer and acclaimed photojournalist Selket Kaufman, the 20-minute piece tells a story of hope and of “standing up for what you believe in, no matter the odds,” according to the filmmaker, who traveled to Tonga, Slovenia, Australia and the continental US to interview, friends, colleagues and people who knew him best to help tell the story of founder Greg Kaufman.
