After a LOOOOOOOONG break between episodes, your host Kevin Reigh is back with another ridiculous conversation. This time up, Kevin's cousin Jason from NYC pops in for a conversation about cooking, Jamaican food, and a little unscripted and unvarnished relationship discussion. Also, Kevin and Jason discuss what happened to their childhood dreams of marrying Jamaican women.....uh...this episode is also...not always...uh...the most progressive space....
As referenced in this episode you can listen to 'Cook' <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgcLj4XTbtE">here</a>.

The Case For Emancipated Waistlines

Gangalee is a literary hub with a perspective shaped by the art, music, food, and culture of the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora. Focusing on poetry, essays and cultural commentary, Gangalee prioritizes that perspective over any devotion to literary pretensions; and we love work that gives side eye and cut eye to the status quo. This podcast series features short, sometimes wide-ranging (and often ridiculous) conversations with the erudite, tawdry (and often ridiculous) friends, family and artists we love.
