Let's discuss the correlation between the 13th Amendment & the Emancipation Proclamation (which was a strategic move to help win the civil war while keeping the European nations Britain/France from all intervening). And what many seem to not know is that even to this day part 2 of the 13th Amendment still allows for slavery. The Emancipation Proclamation came first, then the 13th Amendment, 14th(equal rights under the law),& 15th giving the rights of citizenship to former enslaved persons.
