Kafka Hibino was just you average, everyday 30-something sanitation agent, when one day he was bitten by a radioactive Kaiju. Now he can do whatever a Kaiju can, in a compact humanoid form. He wants to use these new powers to join the Japanese Defense Force and reunite with his childhood friend on the battlefield, but now his monstrous anatomy makes him a kill-on-site enemy of the state.
