Children must never work for our love; they must rest in it. We need to emphasize, especially to our children, that people are loved because of WHO THEY ARE, and not for WHAT THEY DO. We need to build a firm foundation of unconditional love for our children and stop glamorizing overworking and perfectionism as being signs of "success."
