Unlike many conversion narratives, Saint Jones experienced a remarkable encounter with the divine while under the influence of marijuana. In his own account, he vividly recalls the moment when, consumed by a powerful high, he found himself in his grandmother’s church on a quiet Saturday afternoon, alone with his thoughts. It was then that he mustered the courage to pose a heartfelt question to God, “What’s wrong with me?” Astonishingly, in that solitary sanctuary, the voice of God reverberated within him, delivering a concise yet profound response: “Surrender.” This profound encounter became the catalyst for Saint Jones’ spiritual journey, leaving an indelible mark on his soul and guiding him towards a path of faith and transformation.
