In this interview, I spoke with Ms. Casey Cavanaugh, a Registered Dietician Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. We discussed a myriad of topics related to the obesity epidemic including how closely it is tied to capitalism, the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic have had on it, and how we, as a society, can make a difference in it.
