Over The Influence is back! And this series, it's all about you...
In every episode in Series 2, BBC broadcast journalist Sharon Hartley and Guinness World Record holder Freddie Bennett invite a different guest on to the podcast who have in some way inspired their own alcohol free journeys, from AF authors to inspirational Instagrammers.
In this episode, Shazza and Freddie talk to Delroy Taylor, who is also known as Bunny Pacer on Instagram (@bunny_pacer). Del found Over The Influence when a friend suggested that he should listen to the first series, and we were humbled to hear that it has helped him to change his life. Now over 3 months alcohol-free, Del tells us his story - about how an abusive figure in his past led him to use alcohol to hide his fear, and how this damaged his relationships. He also talks about how alcohol led him to abuse harder substances, and how his brother's mental health has been so deeply affected by their difficult childhood.
