Through these exclusive mentoring sessions, it is our hope that you are able to articulate your feelings in a productive way. Part 1. In this session, we identify how negative thoughts begin, second, we use scripture to uncover the lies in those thoughts, and finally, we strategize how we will practice the truth. The design of these mentoring sessions is to introduce the idea and encourage exploration. I want you to be curious about the way you are thinking. Using a simple exercise we learn how toxic thinking is fed. 2 Corinthians Action Step Two: Find the Lie! Make a conscious decision to hold your thoughts captive. This means you will not give your mind the freedom to run with its current course of filtering truth through your immediate fleeting feelings. Test your thoughts using Philippians Action Step Three: Practice the Truth 2 Corinthians What are the consequences of those thoughts, and how did we behave? Did our thoughts lead to fighting, jealousy, anger, hostility, slander, gossip, inflated ego, or disorder?
