Happy 2021 everyone! In the first OB episode of the new year, Mari chats about new movies(Soul, Herself, Some Kind of Heaven, Pieces of a Woman) and Jeff chats about an eclectic mix of media (Insecure, Search Party, WW84, Knife + Heart) that they both watched to ring in the new year. They also quick spotlight the Critics Choice Awards and the Gotham Awards winners and what they mean for the season. Mari and Jeff then deep dive into The Sound of Metal, and if this film doesn't win an Oscar for sound, they'll riot.
