Monogamy was like, you know, you get together, you commit to each other and say, I'm only being with you. You have a couple of kids and you just live life happily ever after. But the whole world, when you start to talk about social media in the presence of what poly shows, it shows itself on a very sexual level. And that clears the picture on why for so many people a sexual relationship may be the only way that they see to intimacy. I don't think we grow up with a lot of role models of healthy intimacy, healthy relationships that might be platonic polyamory or whatever it is.
