We talk to tennis coach and Ted talker Sam Jalloh. We hear how he defied the odds, growing up in Sierra Leone during a period of brutal civil war yet going on to be his countries flag bearer at the All African Games.

We also hear about his life now, where Sam uses his experiences to help others through sport, and has become an author with the publishing of his book ‘Tennis Saved My Life’.
