Gerald Henderson, of Detroit, has always educated the kids in his family about business literacy and even made them business owners of their own LLCs as early as 9 years old so they can learn first hand about running a business whether it was ordering inventory, following trends, forecasting, marketing, maintenance, reinvestment, etc. His approach is based on life lessons learned from his grandmother, his education, his experience, and his desire to keep learning and keep teaching. His roots run deep in Detroit and he recently purchased an entire city block representing his past and also representing his desire to help pave a better future for Detroit.
