In 1976, Rick was a Memphis AM radio host, searching for ANYTHING to fill the airwaves and entertain listeners. A chance encounter with a guy at the gym who could do a passable duck impression paired with a then-bubbling music revolution led to “Disco Duck,” a song that has since become an outdated punchline but once was a multi-million selling phenomenon.
