In our pilot episode, the focus is on gambling harms. Patrick Foster, Founder and Director of Gam-ed (Gambling, Addiction and Mental Health Talks) and author of ‘Might Bite’ will be sharing his experience of developing and recovering from a severe and sustained gambling addiction. Jo Luck, the podcast’s creator will put herself in the guest seat and share her own experiences of being an ‘affected other’, financially and emotionally harmed by the gambling addiction of her long-term partner.  Restorative Practices facilitator Joanne Ramsey will host the conversation.

Keeping yourself safe
If you are a listener in active gambling addiction or, if you are in recovery but feeling fragile,  listening to Jo's story (the affected other) may be experienced as emotionally challenging.

Note: episode references suicide.
