This week I have a very special guest on the show: Sean Ambriz! Sean is an Army MP, Afghanistan war veteran, and author of the book "Ghosts of the Valley". We talk about all facets of his military service, from bootcamp, to both of his Afghanistan deployments, his struggles with PTSD and mental health, and what inspired him to write his book. We go in depth in to some of the stories I found most intriguing about the book, and I'm sure you all will too. We discuss the importance of great leadership and how it directly correlates to healthy morale and ultimately safety. Sean talks about the good fortune he's had throughout his career despite the bad. We talk about some of the things we do on deployments to pass the time (like how important it is to get that good hard drive on deployment. If you know you know). We also share some of the funniest things to come out of the darkest moments, which help to make things just a little bit easier.
