Amelia Dyer was a serial-killer that lived during the Victorian era in Britain where she worked as a baby-farmer. She would take unwanted infants for a fee into her care, in essence, "adopting them". However, what she was really doing behind closed doors with these illegitimate babies was far too gruesome to imagine.
