We sat with Sylvestre Kabassidi at SAMPRA workshop in November 2021. This Congolese-born singer/ songwriter is a rebel with a sensitive soul, whose music breaks stereotypes and takes African songs in new  and exciting directions. Sylvestre represents the new generation of African artists emphasizing fragile melodies.
